Hence's 5 step plan to take back control of your day
What if I told you that you could achieve so much more in your day, just by starting your morning right?
From the moment you wake up, you have the ability to own your day....
Here are Hence's 5 simple steps on how to own your morning and take control of your day.
1. GET UP
Are you someone who hears your alarm, groans, and puts it on snooze as many times as possible until you have NO CHOICE but to get up? Then, getting up becomes a bit of a rush. Breakfast is whatever you can grab on the go. And your first drink of the day is a super-strong cup of coffee?
Well, you might not like what I am about to say... But, GET UP. With that first alarm. Don't like getting up early? Then go to bed earlier... You're at your most productive in those earlier hours of waking up. Think about it, the world is quiet, no one hassling you? What’s not to love? I mean, it's 5:22 am and I am sitting here writing this amazing blog post, drinking a glass of water (which is always my first drink of the day, pre my Greens Stack routine).
This leads me swiftly to my next point.
2. Make your first drink of the day water.
Sounds a bit boring, right? But it's so simple. One of the simplest life hacks that you could ever take away from this. In fact, without sabotaging this blog post and making it all about the importance of drinking water, if you take ONE THING away from reading this, make it this point. But why? You ask.... Well, you've been asleep. Not hydrating. You wake up, your mouth is dry, you're half asleep, you make your coffee and THAT is the first thing that hits your system. Caffeine. Coffee. I want you to envisage just how damn good water tastes first thing in the morning. It's the simplest, easiest, and (2nd) healthiest decision you will make all day.
Now, you've not long woken up and you have already made two seriously healthy living choices. You woke up to be productive. That’s a decision. And you have hydrated your body. Intention.
3. Check in with yourself.
This is only achievable if you managed to get up early enough... starting to see the snowball effect yet???
Checking in with yourself can be simple. It could be meditation, it could be exercise, it could be writing out your goals, it could be revisiting old goals! But checking in with yourself and how you are feeling is a great way to be mindful of how you manage your day. Is there something concerning you with work? Is there a family issue that is causing you anxiety? Either way, by checking in with how you are feeling and what you intend to achieve, you can literally tackle anything that the day is about to throw at you with a level head.
4. Get a good breakfast.
I feel like this one is so obvious that it almost doesn't require mentioning, but it's a damn important one... Get a good breakfast. There. I bet even you knew that I was going to say it. A decent, healthy breakfast. Protein, some carbs and healthy fats... get it all in there. Sit down at the table if you can. Focus on every single mouthful. Enjoy every single mouthful. You can even have it with that cup of coffee that you love to have. Make breakfast an enjoyable moment of the day. Not a rushed, half assed attempt as you sit there dreading everything about to come your way. The day is starting and you're about to own it! That's pretty cool.
5. Get your Greens.
Obviously, we were going to slip that one in there. Covering literally hundreds of benefits through literally hundred of life-improving micronutrients, adaptogens and nootropics. Everything else you need to own that day, is in a powder, ready to mix up.
There is a reason that we state regularly that Greens Stack is more than just a supplement, it's a mindset. And that's because it’s part of the bigger picture. It's part of the morning ritual that sets you on the right track to achieving every single one of those goals that you set yourself. Greens Stack is the UK's first ULTIMATE daily supplement. It covers all your bases nutritionally and sets you up for the best day possible... mentally, as well as physically.
All seems a bit simple now that you've seen it written out in 5 easy steps? That's because it is. It really is. THAT SIMPLE. Giving yourself the tools to own your day literally starts in that first hour of waking up. You're giving yourself the best possible chance. And that's pretty cool. AND VERY SIMPLE.
Do you have anything that you would add?
